When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster

Chapter 1076: Delivering Invitations

Chapter 1076: Delivering Invitations

Faye thought for a moment, "I’ll decide what she wears for her birthday party. I’ll make it myself, including the little hairpins." Thinking about her beloved daughter, she already had some ideas in her mind.

"Great!" Adrian Lancaster was thrilled, "Then I’ll design the invitations by hand and personally deliver them to the elders. I’ll also handle the venue setup and event planning."

"Can we not invite too many people? Like some of your business partners..." Faye suggested, "I just want to gather the family elders and maybe invite a few close friends."

"Sure, whatever my wife wants." Adrian was more than willing to agree to her wishes.

Then, regarding the details such as choosing the venue, they discussed and reached an agreement.

"Since it’s the child’s birthday, let’s not do it at the old house. Let’s host it at our own place?" Faye proposed.

"Alright."

Following that, Adrian began designing the invitations and quickly finished them. Together with his wife, they finalized the guest list and set aside time to deliver them in person.

On Saturday, very early in the morning, Adrian took Faye and little Joy to Teacher Gable’s place.

A phone call later, Teacher Gable was busy in the kitchen for an hour making a delicious breakfast.

Seeing them return, Chloe Gable was delighted, "Come in, come in quickly, breakfast is ready."

"So soon?" Faye hurried to greet her, "Mom, I told him to have breakfast before coming, but he insisted on eating here with you."

"It’s alright, this is like your home too, you’re welcome! Just let me know in advance so I can have it ready in time, it’s all good." Chloe was very happy to see them come back with the child.

"Mom, what’s for breakfast?" Adrian sniffed, "Smells so good." He was especially hungry and had a big appetite.

Chloe took the child from him, "I made all your favorites. Joy, come, come, let grandma hold you. Adrian, Faye, you both go have breakfast."

"Sure thing!" Adrian, in front of Teacher Gable, acted completely at home, and it was this change in his attitude that made Teacher Gable feel comfortable around him.

The couple had just sat down at the dining table when Faye asked, "Mom, haven’t you eaten yet? Come join us!"

"No, no, you eat first. I’ll keep little Joy company." Saying this, Teacher Gable took the child to the window, "Joy, do you remember grandma? You’ve gotten even prettier recently!"

As Faye and Adrian sat down to eat breakfast, the spare bedroom door opened, and Milo Turner emerged in his pajamas, looking a bit disheveled.

"Sis, Adrian." He rubbed his eyes and looked instantly awake, "Is it really you back?!"

"Yes, yes, go wash up and join us for breakfast!"

"Okay!"

After breakfast, Adrian and Faye handed over the two invitations—

"Mom, Milo, you are invited to Joy’s first birthday party."

"Great! We’ll be there for sure!"

After breakfast and a bit of chatting, they left.

Soon, the Lamborghini was heading towards Jadepoint, and Adrian was taking Faye and the child to the Xavier Family home.

This was also a trip back to the family home.

Upon receiving the call that their daughter and son-in-law were coming back, The Xavier Family was particularly excited, and they prepared lunch with extra care.

Their visit today had two purposes: to see her parents and to deliver the invitations.

They stayed the night at The Xavier Family home, enjoying a slower pace of life. Faye found her relationship with Simon Xavier and Mrs. Xavier growing even closer, as they sat together chatting, seemingly with endless topics to cover.

Recalling childhood memories, the reunion after twenty years felt completely natural.

In contrast, she felt less familiar with her interactions with Adrian.
