Chapter 425 - 423: "If You’re Scared, Don’t Come Out.

Xu Su cursed for what felt like an eternity, but the man on top of her seemed not to hear a word. Instead, a choked sob escaped her lips.

"Are you done?" Shen Chen reached out, his fingers brushing against her lips. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed, unable to resist leaning down to cover her mouth with his. "If you’re done cursing, then let me have a kiss."

Xu Su’s mouth was sealed, every curse she had was swallowed by Shen Chen.

Feeling his shameless advances, Xu Su was on the verge of despair!

’Why did this dinner just have to be at a Shen Family establishment? And how the hell did Shen Chen find me, like he has clairvoyant powers or something, just to show up and act like a lunatic?’

’He’s completely lost his mind!’

’Is anyone going to save me?’

If he kept kissing her like this, she couldn’t dare to count on his self-control. He was clearly on the verge of losing it.

But her phone was in her purse, and she had left her purse in the private dining room.

She had thought Shen Chen would be as easy to dismiss as always, and that she’d be back in no time. She never imagined things would escalate to this point.

Her phone wasn’t on her. She didn’t even have a chance to call Zhou Mochen!

At this point, Xu Su couldn’t even worry about how Zhou Mochen would react if he found out what happened today. All she wanted was to get away from Shen Chen as fast as possible.

He was terrifying!

Even Zhou Mochen at his craziest had never been this unreasonable!

Xu Su was trembling with fear. The events of today had completely shattered her understanding of Shen Chen, an understanding built over two lifetimes.

As if in answer to her prayers, Shen Chen’s phone on the nightstand began to vibrate. He paused, and when he looked up, his face was a mask of frustrated desire...

Seeing the way Xu Su was glaring at him, he slowly broke into a smile. "Susu, you should really take a look in the mirror right now. See for yourself if you truly hate my touch as much as you claim."

As he spoke, he leaned in until their noses were almost touching, their breaths mingling. "Or," Shen Chen said, "you could look at yourself in my eyes. Xu Su, look at your expression right now. It’d be a fucking miracle if I could hold back."

His pupils reflected only her. The girl’s face was flushed, her expression alluring. She tried to glare fiercely at him, but in reality, she was just a paper Tiger, all bark and no bite...

Xu Su started cursing again, racking her brain for every foul word she knew. She’d sworn more today than in her two lifetimes combined, and every single curse was dedicated to him.

Yet, as Shen Chen listened to her tirade, he looked as if he were enjoying some flirtatious banter, a look of pleasure on his face. He shushed her. "Shh. Be good and stop for a second. Let me take this call."

As if Xu Su would ever listen to him. Not only did she not stop cursing, but as a bit of strength returned to her limbs, she began to struggle against him again.

Shen Chen raised an eyebrow in feigned exasperation. "It seems you’re into bondage, is that it? Fine. I can accommodate you."

Xu Su fell instantly silent...

Shen Chen watched her quietly. Seeing the resistance and rejection in her eyes, he couldn’t help but pull her into a hug. "I was just teasing. Don’t be afraid."

By the time he finally answered, it was already the second incoming call.

Whatever was said on the other end made Shen Chen’s leisurely expression slowly vanish. His brow furrowed, and he hung up without a word.

He lowered his gaze to the young woman beside him and rubbed his temples as if fighting a headache. He began to coax her, "Don’t be upset. I can’t take you away today."

"..." Xu Su paused slightly.

Shen Chen said, "Your Zhou Mochen is here. He’ll be at the door in about three minutes."

He had abducted another man’s girlfriend, brought her to a suite, and taken liberties with her, and now the man himself was at the door. Yet Shen Chen wasn’t the least bit nervous. He just leaned back against the bed, looking at the young woman beside him. "Tell me, what if he found out that we..."

"What about us?" Xu Su cut him off. "Nothing happened between us!"

"Mm..." Shen Chen nodded in agreement. "You’re right, *we* didn’t do anything. It was all one-sided, me doing things to you. Xu Su, that was a first for me, you know. Why don’t you give me a review?"

Xu Su knew he was shameless, but she never imagined he could be *this* shameless!

"Go on, tell me," Shen Chen urged with a low chuckle. "Has he done this to you, too?"

"Shut up!" Xu Su snapped. "You should be more worried about how you’re going to face Zhou Mochen!"

"What’s there to face? If he wants to hit me, I won’t fight back. I admit I was in the wrong here. How about I let him have the first three punches?"

Shen Chen got up with a grin and went to the living room to retrieve Xu Su’s shawl. "Put this on. When we start fighting, make sure you stay far away so you don’t get hurt."

His calm demeanor made Xu Su grind her teeth. "Aren’t you afraid Zhou Mochen will kill you?"

"Worried about me?" Shen Chen raised an eyebrow, a wicked smile playing on his lips. "Don’t be. Even if he brought a gun, I’d take my licks. It doesn’t matter that you don’t believe I love you now, Xu Su. Sooner or later, you will."

Xu Su was in disbelief. He seemed like such a normal person day-to-day, but when he snapped, he could be this insane.

’So this was what Shen Chen was really like underneath it all!’

A loud banging erupted from the living room door. After only a couple of thumps, the person outside lost patience and began kicking it violently. The tremendous noise made Xu Su jump.

She quickly put on her shawl and straightened her clothes, her eyes scanning the room...

The tangled mess of the bedsheets, her tear-reddened eyes, her swollen lips, the burning tips of her ears...

Any adult would be able to tell what had just happened in here.

A cacophony of voices filtered through the two doors. A lot of people were out there...

Xu Su’s face went white. ’This is a classic "caught in the act" scenario!’

"If you’re scared, don’t come out."

Catching her off guard, Shen Chen effortlessly cupped the back of her head and gave her one last, hard kiss. After uttering those words, he closed the bedroom door behind him and walked out.

The next second, the suite door was kicked open from the outside. Zhou Mochen stormed in, and the large men he’d brought with him quickly shut the door behind them.

Xu Su could clearly hear the sound of the solid wood door slamming against the wall and bouncing back, followed immediately by a muffled grunt from Shen Chen.

"Where is she?" Zhou Mochen’s eyes were bloodshot, his face contorted with rage. He grabbed Shen Chen by the collar and punched him hard. "Where is she!"

"Of all the people to mess with, you had to fucking go after her!"

Shen Chen was slammed against the wall, blood instantly trickling from the corner of his lip. Before he could speak, he took another punch, followed by an elbow strike that brought him to the ground. Zhou Mochen kicked him in the stomach, grinding his heel in, his fury reaching its peak. "You’re asking to die? I’ll grant your wish!"

The suite was large, with several bedrooms. Zhou Mochen dragged Shen Chen to the nearest one, kicked open the door, and threw him inside. As he looked up, his eyes fell on Xu Su, who was cowering at the foot of the bed.

Their eyes met. Zhou Mochen froze. He glanced around the room, and his bloodshot eyes instantly turned dark and menacing. The air grew thick with the promise of a storm.

Eyes practically bursting from their sockets with rage, he charged at Shen Chen, who was just getting to his feet. "What did you do?"

His rage burning away all reason, Zhou Mochen punched Shen Chen in the gut, then drove a knee into his abdomen. "You dared to touch her? You dared to touch her!"

Shen Chen dodged to the side. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with his thumb and glanced back at Xu Su. "Stay back."
